Dr. Anjali Dave (B.V.Sc. & A.H.)
Dr. Anjali Dave (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) graduated with distinction from Mhow Veterinary College in 1992. After practising in Pune for 12 years, she relocated with her family in 2005 to Malaysia and gained useful insight and experience over the next five years at vibrant veterinary hospitals at Penang and Kuala Lumpur. Returning to Pune in 2010, Anjali reestablished her practice at NIBM: it has grown into a buzzing, happy workplace. Pets have been a part of her life for five decades now and her professional interaction with clients and patients is deeply influenced by her own experience as a pet parent. Over the years, she’s had many dogs and cats at home; presently there’s a Retriever Michelle and two cats – Puppy and Chiku. Both the cats are ‘rescues’ – and found their way home after brief stays at the Petcetera Cat Hostel. In 2016, Anjali was felicitated by Pune District Veterinary Association for distinguished service as a lady veterinarian. In recent years, she has attended the Dermatology-I course run by European Small Advanced Veterinary Studies (ESAVS) at Vienna, Austria and has an Animal Birth Control Certification from World Veterinary Service (WVS). She has also trained in Veterinary Cardiology, reflecting her commitment to advancing her skills and knowledge. Anjali is a fitness enthusiast who enjoys the outdoors and traveling to offbeat locations. She was College President in her final year and a recipient of the Best Rider Trophy with many medals in showjumping, tent pegging and hacks, and led the NCC Equestrian contingent at the Republic Day Parade. She enjoys playing the piano and unwinding after a day’s work with her family and pets.

Dr. Tista Joseph (M.V.Sc. Surg. & Radiol )
Dr. Tista Joseph (M.V.Sc. Surg. & Radiol.) decided to become a veterinarian when she was 5 years old. She loves being a surgeon and radiologist but needs to keep her fingers deep in challenging medicine and intensive care for mental peace. Dr. Tista is also a Minimally Invasive Surgeon and is working hard to introduce less traumatic and high efficiency procedures into routine veterinary practice. A lot of her childhood was spent perched on banyan trees and caring for a variety of animals including small mammals, birds, reptiles, earthworms and insects. Through college, along with her roommate, she fostered many species through their treatment, recovery and rehabilitation. She’s volunteered with a few organisations through the years. She’s been fortunate to work with a myriad of wildlife, exotics and companion animals. She says she can’t pick a favourite, but has a soft corner for bears. She enjoys her free time with her family and their dogs - Chuppi & Bambi, travelling, photography, swimming, reading and writing. She is biding her time until she can have a menagerie at home.
